About the park

A working park, not a resort — and that's exactly the point.

Springbok Caravan Park sits just off the N7, on the road between Cape Town and the Namibian border. Whether you're chasing the flower season, heading north on a long trip, or simply breaking up the drive, we keep it clean, quiet and honest.

Pitch your tent, park the caravan, or take a chalet. Either way — you'll sleep well.

Things to do

There is more to Springbok than a bed.

A short list of reasons to stay an extra night.

Namaqualand in Bloom

For a few weeks in August and September the semi-desert erupts into a carpet of wild flowers. The park is a short drive from the best viewing reserves.

Goegap Nature Reserve

15km from the park — succulents, quiver trees, zebra, springbok and hiking trails through a living desert botanical garden.

Gateway to Namibia

An hour from the Vioolsdrift border post. Rest up, refuel and cross the Orange River in the morning.

Stargazing

Minimal light pollution, clear desert skies and a Milky Way you will not believe until you see it.

Town & Koppies

Walk into Springbok for coffee, pick up supplies, or climb the granite koppies that ring the town at sunset.

Richtersveld & West Coast

A natural base camp for trips deeper into the Richtersveld, Port Nolloth, Hondeklipbaai and the rugged Atlantic coast.
